Applicants from countries not participating in the call can be part of a consortium, as long as they are able to secure their own funding (a signed statement of proof of own funding should be annexed to the proposal application).

How to Apply

1- Please consult the Call Documents on the yellow box on the right.

2- Call eligibility rules are available in the Call Documents. For this specific Joint Transnational Call, Portuguese applicants can submit more than one application as Principal Investigator. Consult the "National Documents" available in the yellow box on the right. Read the specific National funding regulations of all the participating countries you are involved with (including your own). Non-eligible partners may lead to the rejection of the whole consortium.

3- Access the online submission platform FFG Online submission platform, and proceed according to your role (Partner or Coordinator).

4- Each Portuguese partner (or coordinator) has to send to the Call National Contact Point a Statement of Commitment duly signed, dated and stamped by the Head of the Portuguese applicant organization and by the Principal Investigator, until 10 days after the deadline for submission of pre-proposals. FCT may latter require the original of the statement of commitment.

For this call a two-stage procedure will be adopted. In the first stage, consortia are invited to submit pre-proposals. After the submission of the pre-proposals, approximately 50 pre-proposals will be selected. The successful consortia will then be invited to elaborate their ideas to full proposals. The coordinator submits the pre-proposal using the form templates available in the yellow window and submits it via the Electronic Submission System (when available).

Besides, JPI Urban Europe provides a partner search page for submitting expressions of Interest by filling-in a template that can be downloaded or through a thematic LinkedIn group.
