Transnational Cooperation

HY-CO ERA-NET

FCT is a member of HY-CO (2004-2008), an ERA-NET project where 24 European research agencies from 18 countries and 1 region seek best practice as a basis for cooperation in order to strengthen European research and to support the structuring of the European Research Area (ERA).

This particular project aims at setting up efficient trans-national cooperation in the field of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells research funding. Also contributing to the EU Strategy, HY-CO will allow the funding agencies to collate existing activities, compare future strategies and recommendations of consultive bodies and systematically explore opportunities for future collaboration.

One of the main objectives is the implementation of common strategies for funding transnational research projects in relevant topics in the area of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells.
