Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the UK (PARSUK)

PARSUK – Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the United Kingdom – is an independent and non-profit association, without political affiliation. PARSUK was created in 2008 to promote communication within the community of Portuguese researchers and students in the UK. It currently has more than 1500 members. In 2019, FCT and PARSUK signed a protocol to promote the scientific diplomacy between Portugal and the UK, and to establish linkages between the vast network of Portuguese scientists in the UK and our national communities. In particular, it was created a Scientific Council to promote sinergies between institutions, and to interact with governing bodies and the Portugues Embassy in the UK.
