The President of the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), Helena Pereira, recorded a message addressed to the scientific community on the occasion of the opening of the program of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of FCT, which began with the conference "25 years of FCT in Science: Opportunities and Challenges", held on 14 January, at the Thalia Theatre, in Lisbon.
The program of the celebrations is composed of 11 more sessions, which will be organized throughout the year by FCT, promoting a wide debate of ideas with the scientific community on important issues for the future of science in Portugal and in Europe.
