The present call for proposals aims to fund scientific research and technological development projects in the field of Clinical and Translational Research. The Clinical and Translational Collaborative Research Grants are designed to enhance and enlarge the clinical and translational research infrastructure in Portugal. The proposals will involve a collaborative effort between Portuguese research teams and Harvard Medical School teams.
Each approved proposal shall receive funding up to €300 000.
Successful competitive proposals will involve a collaborative effort between (at least) two Portuguese research teams from different legally defined institutions and (at least) one research team from Harvard Medical School, institutions affiliated with Harvard Medical School and/or other Harvard faculties and schools.
Researchers and research teams from the following organizations may apply: higher education institutions and associated research centers; Associated Laboratories; State Laboratories; private non-profit institutions (dedicated to R&D), and other public or private, non-profit organizations that carry out scientific research.
Applications should be submitted online between 17th July and 5pm (Lisbon time), 25th September 2013.
