Objectives

In the framework of the modernization and simplification goals that FCT has pursued, targeted at making available friendlier web applications, but also at contributing for a higher degree of transparency in public administration, FCT has made available, in August 2009, news tools for browsing and management in the hope that they become another contribution for the autonomy and responsabilization of PIs while managing their projects.

It is the intention of FCT to extend this type of functionality to the institutions involved in the projects.

Portal

The new functionality is available through

https://sig.fct.pt/fctsig/

with the usual FCTSIG credentials used for project submission and management.

Among the options available after login in FCTSIG choose Projectos de I&D.

Functionality

Available functionality is divided among four groups.

Resultados de Avaliação

Access to the comments made by evaluation panels allowing to accept or reject the proposed funding decision.

Gestão de Projectos

Complete information concerning:

Scientific management, including global overview of applications, results of evaluation, possible authorized changes to the project, submission of progress reports, submission of final report, and results of the evaluation of the final report,
Financial management, including FEDER application form (when applicable), Contract / Acceptance form, project budget and authorized budget changes, payment details, expense itemization with payment request analysis, and final financial report.

Dedicação a Projectos

Presentation of the percentage of research time assigned to each project, referred to the query date and, in particular, with end date in the future, for all participating projects, and the role in each project.

Notas e Informações

Description of the administrative procedure to follow after communication of evaluation results, links to particularly relevant regulations and rules, etc. This type of information will be updated regularly.
